Village Heights Activities
Activities listed below are both within the congregational setting as well as out in the community. Please note that some of these programs may be inactive for a bit due to COVID-19.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)
J.A.M. is a program at the Independence, MO Hawthorn Boys and Girls Club that meets every Tuesday from 4:30pm-6:40pm. This program connects with youth in an effort to minister. If interested in contributing of your time and talents to work within this program, click the button below.
Bag Ladies
Bag Ladies meets each Thursday at 10:00am at the Village Heights church building. Bags are utilized to weave together to create mats for the area homeless individuals. If you are interested in giving of your time and talent in this area, please click the button below. This program is not restricted to female participants; anyone may participate.
Partnership with Elm Grove Elementary School
Village Heights is in partnership with this local elementary school in an effort to provide backpacks, health room supplies, holiday grocery certificates and other needed items, throughout the year. If interested in supporting this effort, please click below.
